Recycled Cycles & Service offers a variety of repair services -- from simple tuneups to custom builds. Several popular bicycle maintenance packages are outlined below. All work is completed to professional standards. Call (314) 862-4041 for a free estimate or to set up an appointment.

* Please note: The impacts of COVID-19 have fortunately eased. However, limited parts availability in some areas may delay completion of repairs. Also, to maintain consistent quality, Recycles Cycles does not accept repair work for brands such as Motiv, Huffy, Murray, Next, Magna and other bicycles not purchased at a bicycle shop.
 

Standard Packages

Choose from these basic service packages or call on us for more specific work. Setting up lower gearing for easier pedaling uphill, for example, is a Recycled Cycles specialty!

• QUALITY TUNEUP -- $75 (plus parts)
  Tuneup service includes lubrication and adjustment of brakes and derailleurs, adjustment of main bearing assemblies (hubs, cranks, headset), wheel truing, general cleaning and safety inspection. (Some parts installations may incur an additional charge.)

• TUNEUP PLUS DRIVETRAIN SERVICE -- $110 (plus parts)
  This service package includes removal, cleaning and lubrication of chain, crankset, freewheel and derailleurs in addition to all the lubrication and adjustments listed under our Quality Tuneup. Bottom bracket overhaul also included. (Some parts installations may incur an additional charge.)

• MAJOR OVERHAUL -- Quoted (per bicycle inspection)
  Make your bike like new! A Major Overhaul includes total disassembly, cleaning, lubrication and careful reassembly of every component of your bicycle. Drivetrain deep cleaning, frame inspection and alignment (as required) are also part of the package.
   

Repair Pickup

All repaired items (bicycles, framesets, wheels, etc.) must be picked up within 30 days of the dates customers are notified that repaired item are ready. Notification will be made via telephone, e-mail or both. All items not picked up within 30 days of notification become the property of Recycled Cycles & Service and will be disposed of at the discretion of RCS management.
